Call for Proposals: Alumni Initiative Grant Program (2025)
Introduction
We are excited to announce the opening of our Alumni Initiative Grant Program. This initiative seeks to empower our distinguished alumni with the opportunity to contribute to their communities and fields of expertise. We invite all alumni to submit their innovative project ideas that can make a significant impact on their community.
Grant Details
Funding Available: 10,000,000 MMK (5,000,000 MMK per grantee)
Project Duration: Projects can span up to 4 months.
Eligibility: Must be alumnus of Cherry Myay College. Collaborative projects with other alumni are highly encouraged.
Focus Areas
We are looking for proposals that address the following areas:
Community Development: Projects that aim to improve the quality of life in your local communities.
Education: Initiatives enhancing youth development opportunities and outcomes, such as vocational training, workshops, and seminars.
Sustainability: Proposals that promote environmental sustainability and awareness.
Application Process
- Proposal Submission: Submit a detailed proposal outlining your project idea, objectives, expected impact, and a clear budget plan.
- Review Period: All submissions will be reviewed by the college’s Management Team.
- Notification: Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further instructions on funding disbursement and project implementation.
Submission Guidelines
– Proposals must be submitted in the official format provided.
– Include at least two alumni in your project team.
– Clearly articulate the problem you are addressing and how your project provides a solution.
– Provide a detailed budget that outlines how funds will be utilized.
– Must provide at least 10 activity photos along with the report.
Reporting Timeline
– Submit two reports during the project duration: a mid-term report and a final report.
– Disbursement of funds will occur in two installments:
- The first installment of 80% of the total funding will be disbursed upon award of the grant.
- The remaining 20% will be released following the submission of the midterm report.
